Reflecting on the emotional rollercoaster that accompanies our journey through motherhood and womanhood, it’s not always a walk in the park to embrace our true selves and feel confident in the process. Just like stepping in front of the camera can be daunting, navigating the complexities of our emotions can leave us feeling unsure and vulnerable. But, trust me, that vulnerability is where your essence truly shines.
Here are some body based tools we use at home to navigate the tougher moments.

–EFT tapping techniques – One powerful method to release pent-up emotions is through Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) tapping. By gently tapping on specific meridian points on your body, you can help alleviate stress and promote emotional balance. Incorporating this practice into your routine can be a transformative step towards emotional well-being.
-Compassion Centered Meditations – A guided practice for you to focus on cultivating self-love and understanding, offering a safe space to acknowledge and process your feelings. To support you on this journey, I’ve even recorded a free meditation exclusively for you – ready to guide you through moments of reflection and healing.
-Shaking Practice – For me there’s no better way to shake off the weight of your emotions than through a grounding shaking practice. Tap into your inner child and be free to move
-Free flow dancing – While similar to a shaking practice in the sense that you left go of what you look like and move fluidly the way your body and emotions want you to, free flow dancing alone and if possible with your eyes closed is an amazing way for you to get back in touch with your body and the heavier emotions that may need to literally move through you. How you ever wondered what sadness would look like for you in a movement? Try it out! Also check out this awesome Spotify list for some inspiration to move that stagnant energy.
-Primal Scream – When was the last time you gave yourself permission to let out a full our scream? There is a safe way to do this though to avoid hurting your vocal cords! Use a deep belly scream (more of a roar) and get a deep release from your belly.
These are the kind of topics we discuss in the Rise Women Community on Facebook.
